The Gasworks Museum AGM is on Sunday 26 July,2020.

Join us for afternoon tea from 3 pm; AGM meeting proper starts at 4 pm.

We’d love to see as many current and prospective members as possible.

Following the AGM-

Guest speaker Sophie Barker.
Sophie is a Dunedin City councillor, Gasworks Museum trustee, and local tourism expert. She will discuss tourism after the pandemic, with a focus on domestic tourism - a highly relevant topic for the Gasworks, and indeed many other organisations in Dunedin. Make a note in your diaries!

Casual visiting rates open days

The Museum is open Sunday, opening times 12noon until 4pm close.

Covid19 level 1 precautions in place, there is a voluntary scan in (covid app) and we would love for you to sign our visitors book :)

Casual visitor rates:
Individual: $5.00
Children 12 and under are FREE

Group Visits:
Seniors, School & Education Groups, Non-waged.
School groups under 16 years of age must have a ratio of 1 adult to 6 students.

Adults: $5.00 per person
Children: Under 12 Free

The Dunedin Gasworks Museum is part of the now closed Dunedin Gasworks which was New Zealand’s first and last gasworks, operating from 1863 until 1987. It is one of only three known preserved gasworks museums in the world. This is a significant local and world heritage site.

Opening Times:

The Museum is open Sunday, opening times 12noon until 4pm close. There is a small charge for visiting the Museum, Adults $5 each, Children 12 and under are free.
